The house is situated just one mile from the ancient town of Launceston, on the banks of the River Kensey and enjoys its own fishing rights.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful garden, or relax on the riverside patio where, if you are lucky you may see kingfishers flying along the river, as well as many other birds and wild animals.
Adjacent to St Leonards House is St Leonards Equitation Centre, where riding to all standards is available.
Being only 16 miles from the North coast, twixt Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, this is a perfect location for exploring the area.
For golfers, vouchers are available, which allow two players to play for the price of one green fee on many local courses.
Tailor-made escorted tours can also be arranged to suit your special interest, whether it be history, antiques, needlework, fishing, golf, fairies or anything else you desire; please enquire and we will design a tour just for you.
Whatever your needs, you can be assured of a warm welcome from your hosts John and Jane Marshall, who will ensure that your stay is memorable and one that you will wish to repeat.
