Old Granary House is located off the A59, approximately five miles from York, in a tranquil rural setting, with views of open countryside to South / South-West.
The house stands in over an acre of open grass land, with a large wildlife pond and attractive mature shrubbery.
The house is approached by a private drive, with ample parking for visitors.
Old Granary house is ideally situated for both buisness travellers and as a base for exploring North Yorkshire, being midway between York and Harrogate.
The house is full of character, with log burning stoves, Yorshire stone floors, and oak beams throughout.
The 1st floor rooms have a bright modern feel and benefit from new luxury en-suite shower rooms.
The downstairs superior room is more traditional, with an oak sleigh bed and matching furniture, which is complemented by a large roll top bath in the en-suite bathroom and a large walk in shower.
French doors lead from this bedroom to the garden.
Your choice of breakfast, is served in a beautifully appointed dining room, containing exposed beams, wood burning stove and terracotta tiled floors.
We look forward to welcoming you into our home and are confident that your stay will be a memorable one.
