Away from the hustle and bustle, you can relax in the amazing countryside of the Peak District, walk or cycle through interesting and beautiful scenery; visit the magnificent Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, or Hardwick and the Plague village of Eyam.

Visit the local town of Bakewell, with its famous Monday Market and the monthly Farmers Market at Buxton, the old Spa town famous for its bottled water; also Matlock and Matlock Bath, where you will find the Heights of Abraham, Gulliver's Kingdom.

You can also take a ride in a cable-car, or stroll along the promenade by the riverside.

If you are feeling like a fun day out, Alton Towers is just a short drive away, around 40 minutes.

Cycle hire is available on the local trails and there are lots of other fun things to do, for all ages around here.
