Moor House, built in the Victorian era, and situated an easy, short walk from the beautiful Portreath harbour and beach, is a haven for those who enjoy a restful home-like atmosphere, in a newly restored Cornish cottage, close to all the splendour that is Portreath.

Visitors can relax on the patio, play a game of croquet, or sit in one of the summer-houses, after a restful night in one of the well-appointed guest bedrooms.

Breakfast is catered especially to our guests'requirements; a menu card allows guests to select just what they want, how much they would like, and when they would like to have it.

For a day at the beach, picnic baskets can be arranged for a separate fee and for those wanting a special romantic weekend, guests can arrange for all the lovely little touches, that will make their weekend very special.

Guests who travel by air, can arrange to be collected at the Newquay airport.
Those traveling by rail, can arrange for collection from the Truro or Redruth stations. Please enquire about this service.

For those traveling by motor, ample parking is provided. Guests' cars can be left at Moor House during their stay, if spending the day at Portreath beach.
