Cheshire House situated in the historic village of Castleton is the ideal location to discover the surrounding Peak District.
We have two tastefully furnished double bedrooms, both offering ensuite facilities. Each room is equipped with colour television, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc, with spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Breakfast is served in our tastefully furnished dining room, to ensure a good start to your day.

Situated nearby are historic sights such as Chatsworth House, Peveril Castle and Haddon Hall. The market towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne are all within easy travelling distance.

From the M1:
Junction 29, A617 to Chesterfield, A619 to Baslow, A623 to Calver, A625 (sign posted Froggatt), this will take you on to the B6001 to Grindleford. Turn left sign posted Hathersage. At T-Junction turn left onto A6187 taking you through to Castleton. As you enter Castleton we are directly opposite the Cheshire Cheese Inn. From the M6: Junction 20, M56 (Manchester), M60 to Stockport, A6 South to Chapel-en-le-Frith, A625 to Castleton. You will drive through Winnats Pass.At the bottom, turn right at the T-junction. Carry on straight through the village on the main road past all of the pubs and finally the Cheshire Cheese pub. Cheshire House is directly opposite the Cheshire Cheese Inn.
