The Escape at Pennal is a magnificent Georgian period Guest House of immense charm and character situated in the beautiful little village of Pennal amidst the famous Snowdonia National Park.
Your hosts, Stuart and Lucie Llewellyn, invite you to come and unwind from the toils of everyday life in this relaxing atmosphere and peaceful setting.
The Escape has 5 quality Guest Rooms either double or en-suite and all rooms have been named after local areas of natural beauty. They are furnished to a high standard with your comfort in mind. All but one are en-suite and one has a lovely private bathroom.
One of the bedrooms is available on the ground floor for guests who may find stairs difficult. The rooms offer an exceptional level of cleanliness and have all the little luxuries you would expect from a high quality country guest house.

Breakfast at the Escape is a real treat! All ingredients are fresh, cooked to order and are of the highest quality. You will find a buffet style choice of cereals, chilled yoghurts, orange juice, toast and preserves to start with, followed by the full cooked breakfast plus other dishes for those who like something lighter in the morning!
Likewise our home-cooked suppers will satisfy your hunger and replace those calories burned exploring the area! The Escape is also licensed and we have a range of wines, beers and champagne for your enjoyment!

FROM THE NORTH:
From M6 take M56 to Chester. From Chester take A483 through Wrexham and onto Welshpool. At Welshpool take A458 to Machynlleth. At the T junction in front of the clock turn right then just after crossing the bridge over the River Dyfi turn sharp left. Continue for approximately 2 1/2 miles before entering Pennal. After the Riverside Pub and just before the bridge turn right and follow the road up to The Escape on the right hand side. FROM THE MIDLANDS: From M6 towards Telford and Shrewsbury then onto the A5 to Shrewsbury. At Shrewsbury go onto the A458 through Welshpool and onto Machynlleth. Directions then as above. |
