Built in 1880 Warrens has been created from two large Victorian Town Houses, offering modern comforts in traditional surroundings. All with its own private car park.
Located just 350 yards from the City Walls we are within 10 minutes of the City Centre, Train Station, Racecourse and Business Centres including the University and Colleges.
Our Bedrooms:
All our bedrooms are individual in their design, many with original Victorian features such as cornicing, ceiling roses and some with the original Victorian fireplaces.
All our rooms are non-smoking. You may choose from single, double, king-size, four-poster or family rooms, some rooms on ground floor and some with a view.
For those special occasions we can provide Champagne, Flowers and Chocolates in the room for your arrival.
All our rooms carry the same theme of quality and cleanliness.
All rooms feature:

For the Business Traveller:
For our regular Business Travellers we offer reduced rates between Sunday and Thursday.

York is the ideal place for a family holiday whatever the weather. If you are coming by car we can offer you free parking in our private car park.
Warrens is ideally situated within walking distance of all York's major attractions and for those wishing to visit further a field York is a great base for touring. We are within 40 minutes of the East Coast famous for its beautiful sandy beaches. Harry Potters' North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, Goathland made famous by Heartbeat, Castle Howard of Brideshead revisited fame and for those wanting more thrills there is Flamingo Land and all its rides.
Car Park:
We can offer you a private flood lit car park. Most of our guests do not use their car during their stay as everything is within easy walking distance.

Rooms rates change through out the year. Rates range from £30.00 to £80.00 per person per night and include Full English Breakfast (vegetarian options), Free Internet Access, Free Car Parking and ensuite facilities. We are open all Year round. |

Directions from the South
Travel along the M1 and you will approach the Southern Outskirts of Leeds. Continue along this motorway which becomes the A1 – The North and take the turn off which is signposted York A64. Follow the A64 eastbound towards York. Take the slip road for YORK WEST (A1036) towards the City Centre. At the brow of a hill, you will find a set of traffic lights go through these lights and move into the right hand lane marked by arrows for a right turn into Scarcroft Road. (If you pass the Kwik Fit garage you have gone one set of lights to far). We are located 100 yards down the road on the left hand side of the road past Scarcroft Green. On arrival please park in front of Warrens Hotel, there is limited waiting on our side of the road but no restrictions directly on the other side opposite Warrens. Please come to the front door, you can check in and we can direct you to our private car park. You are so close to the City that it is unlikely that you will want to drive for the duration of your stay. If you get lost call us on 01904 - 643139 **************************************************************** Directions from the North Travel along the A1(M) southbound and take the junction marked A59 (this is the York Harrogate road) Follow the A59 southbound towards York until you hit the York outer ring road. At this junction there is a roundabout, go ‘straight over’ and follow this road. You will pass the Fox Pub on your left hand side. Shortly after passing the Fox Pub you will reach the Iron Bridge. Turn right immediately after crossing the iron bridge, into Dalton Terrace. At the next traffic lights, keep left and turn left. Move into the right hand lane and follow the lane arrows turning right into Scarcroft Road. (If you pass the Kwik Fit garage you have gone one set of lights to far).
