Manor Farm is a huge and stunning original Mendip home dating back to the 14th century. It has been fully restored yet retains many exciting and unusual period features. All bedrooms are en suite and beautifully furnished, light and airy with views across the walled gardens. We have excellent facilities - open fires, a large Games Room (snooker, darts, widescreen TV, DVD, PS2, board games & books), a lovely private living room just for guests.
Bedrooms have remote TV & DVD, tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, minibar, free mineral water & Kit Kats on a daily basis, fluffy bath robes, hairdryer, range of beauty & shower/bath products.
Manor Farm is the perfect "get away from it all" place! Whether for a weekend or short break or a week or two, we guarantee you will have a wonderful stay and return home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We link up with tip top beauty therapists, reflexologists, masseurs etc. and can arrange visits for you.
For complete privacy, The West Wing Suite is heavenly. It is a super large suite accessed by its own inner staircase (with door). Great for that romantic break you have always been promising yourselves!
Children are especially welcome - they will love the Games Room and the garden which has BBQ, croquet, boules and a replica John Deere ride-on tractor for the little ones.
Wells is a fabulous city just two miles down the hill and boasts the famous Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. Markets are excellent and take place on Wednesday and Saturday. There are loads of places to visit suitable for all ages, for example, Wookey Hole Caves and Paper Mill, Cheddar Gorge and caves, Galstonbury, Hestercombe gardens, Stourhead, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Longleat House and Safari Park, Bath, Taunton (Sommerset CCC), to name but a few.
Do contact us if you would like to discuss any particular requirements - champagne, caviar, fireworks etc.
We are open year round.
