Newark Lodge is the only guest house in Newark with Four Diamonds and a Silver Award. All rooms are ensuite, trouser press, hairdryer, TV, hospitality tray, Wireless Broadband and a fridge to keep your beers / wine nicely chilled.
Newark Lodge dates back to the late 1700's and has so much character - be careful you don't knock your head on the beams! Full off-street parking is available and evening meals are served just around the corner at the Chester's Pub. Jackie, the manager at Chester's, will look after you like royalty and they give you a discount on your food as well!
We're located in Balderton which is just outside Newark. It's nice and quiet but very accessible - just off the A1.

From the A1
Take the exit for Claypole / Balderton, follow road towards Newark and at first set of traffic lights turn right onto Main Street, and Bullpit road is the 3rd turning on your left, and Newark Lodge is on your left hand side. From the A46 Exit at the Lord Ted / Farnden roundabout onto the B6166 and at the next set of traffic lights turn right onto the London Road the B6326, and at the second set of traffic lights turn left onto Main Street (By the Turks Head Pub), and Bullpit Road is the 3rd turning on your left and Newark Lodge is on the left had side. |
