Nigel & Wendy would like to extend a warm welcome to visitors of Chelmsford Place Guest House. Chelmsford Place is to be found at 85 Fulford Road, which is only 9-10 minutes walk from York's historic city centre either by the pleasant tree lined riverside walk (only 400 yards away) or by the main road.
We are also close to York University & supply free campus maps for visiting students or families of students. Chelmsford Place offers singles, doubles, twins, triples & family rooms, most of which have full en-suite facilities, apart from two standard rooms which share toilet-shower facilities with each other only just outside the rooms. All rooms have central heating, colour remote teletext television and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Chelmsford Place is fully fire certificated, and we have guaranteed free parking.
Full English breakfast is included in the price, and is served in the comfortable ground floor dining room.

Travelling from the NORTH: Take the A59 to York and turn right at the first roundabout onto the ring road marked Leeds A1237 Continue on this road for about 3 miles then join the A64 dual carriageway to York and take the second exit marked "York Centre/Selby A19" then follow this road into York for about 2 miles. We are situated 500 yards after the fork in the road on the right hand side. Travelling from the SOUTH: Join the A64 dual carriageway to York and take the 3rd exit marked "York Centre/Selby A19". Then follow this road into York for about 2 miles. We are situated 500 yards just after the fork in the road' on the right hand side. We are only a 5 minute taxi ride from the rail/bus Station. |
