West Buckland Tourist Information |
|
The village has been extended during the past century and at its western edge on a small hillock stands the church of St. Mary whose tower, beautifully illuminated at night, is a landmark for miles around. The views from the churchyard are breathtaking. A secret jewel in West Buckland's crown is the beautifully restored late 16th century Gerbestone Manor, opened annually to the public for charity.
