Docton Mill (2 Miles)* Situated only 1,400 yards from the famous Spekes Mill Mouth Coastal Waterfall, the garden at Docton Mill was created in 1980 around the existing river, waterways, leats and ponds.

Hartland Abbey and Gardens (4 Miles)* Hartland Abbey was founded in 1157 in a narrow, wandering valley running inland from the Atlantic coast. It was dissolved in 1539 having survived longer than any monastery in the country.
