Waterbeck Tourist Information |
|
Waterbeck is a lovely small village in Dumfries and Galloway in the south-west of Scotland, it is well known for it's farming. Many houses and cottages are situated in the centre of the village, but there are many farms slightly outside. With a drive of around 15-20 minutes to Annan, Langholm and Lockerbie you never have to travel a long distance for anything. Although Waterbeck is a quiet village, it is easily accessible with the B722 road passing through the village, linking the M74 and A7 main routes north. Waterbeck does no longer have a shop or post office, however Waterbeck does have a beautiful church and great primary school, which is called Hottsbridge.
