Sproatley Tourist Information |
|
Sproatley is situated about 11 miles from the City Ce'tre of Hull taki'g the road to Bilton/Wyton. Burton Constable Hall (a magnificent stately home)is nestled in the background where a lovely camp site caters for static vans, log cabins, tents and touring vans. For those who like walking you can walk down to the camp site and wander round the lake (very nice on a summer evening). There are also lots of small circular walks which are not too strenuous. Sproatley is a small, very friendly, pretty village. In Spring the village green comes alive with daffodils and at Christmas the Christmas tree and lights on the surrounding bungalows give a warm welcome to abyone travelling through.
