Sleaford Tourist Information

Sleaford is a pleasant market town with many fine buildings. Take the riverside walk to Cogglesford Watermill, a pretty historic mill on the banks of the river Slea, producing stone ground flour on special working days.

The parish church of St. Denys in the market place noted for the beautiful flowing tracery of its windows. The Church has an altar rail by Sir Christopher Wren, formerly in Lincoln cathedral but in the 18th century became surplus to requirements.
