Rusper Tourist Information

The parish of Rusper dates back to at least the 12th century A.D. The parish is nestled between Crawley and Horsham and is home to around 1,500 people.

There are two public houses in the village, The Star which dates back to the 15th C. and the Plough to around the 18th C. There is just one small community owned store, a garage and a sports playing area.

The stunning St. Mary Magdelene's church, towers over the village and dates back to the time of St. Richard of Chichester early in the second half of the 1200s.

There are some great public foot paths to explore that criss-cross the Surrey Sussex Border. There is also the popular Sunday Rusper Sussex car boot sale which attracts visitors from all over Surrey and Sussex during the months of April - October.
