Rothwell is a small, friendly town located around 6 miles from Leeds City Centre, it is an ideal base for commuters and tourists alike. Rothwell has many good facilities. With a population of around 22,000 and a shopping area serving just under 40,000, Rothwell has developed into a place with no shortage of things to see and do. Springhead Park, a 2 minute walk from the shops, has numerous fields and playgrounds as well as tennis courts, bowling greens and a skate park, suiting all types of people. In short, come to Rothwell if you are a visitor seeking a great base for exploring Leeds and the county of West Yorkshire, but don't want to surrender comfort or facilities.
