Romney Tourist Information

New Romney is the largest town on Romney marsh, and an ancient Cinque Port. Old Romney is an unspoiled village lying to the west.

New Romney is the home of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. The engines are copies of main line engines, they have been given names such as Winston Churchill, and Dr. Syn named for the fictional clergyman-smuggler, associated with the Romney Marsh area.

The Romney Toy and Model Museum is also situated here. At Romney Marsh is the Dungeness Power Station's visitor Centre.
