Pembrey is a friendly Welsh village, which sits a mile from the historic town of Burry Port with its pretty harbour and 4 miles from the ancient town of Kidwelly with its famous castle. Pembrey and the surrounding area is steeped in history and natural beauty. The Pembrey Country Park and Cefn Sidan Sands are set against the spectacular backdrop of the Gower Peninsula and overlooking the coastal scenery of Carmarthen Bay. The Park is one of Wales' top visitor attractions providing a unique blend of coast and countryside. Many visitors come to Pembrey to enjoy the freedom to wander around 500 acres of glorious parkland, to take advantage of one of the best beaches in the UK, for the fabulous golf courses, ancient and tranquil villages, monuments steeped with Celtic legends and the famous British Automobile Racing Club "Pembrey Circuit", just under a 2 minute drive from the village, to mention just a few.
