Overcombe Tourist Information |

Overcombe is a quiet beachfront area on the eastern side of Weymouth. It is about two miles from the town centre and harbour, with a frequent bus service. There is adequate parking. The beach itself is sand and shingle and is safe for families. Overcombe is one of Dorset's most popular venues for wind surfing, kite surfing and kayaking. There is an excellent water sports shop and cafe/bistro right on the beach. There is a convenience store and post office, and just up the hill a family pub on the cliff top. Overcombe is close to Lodmoor Nature Reserve and Weymouth Sea Life Park. Description by Martin Hill
