Liskeard is a busy market town on a hill, once linked by canal to Looe. The part Norman Church of St. Martin is the second largest in Cornwall. Liskeard has an interesting Town Museum and a Mechanical Instrument Museum at St Keyne. Nearby at Dobwalls is the Family Adventure Park. At Bicton near Liskeard is Ken-Caro Gardens - 4 acres of garden mostly planted in 1970. A well designed and labelled plantsman's garden with panoramic views.
