Langstone Tourist Information |
|
The Ship Inn and the Royal Oak on the harbour side at Langstone are said to have once been smuggler's haunts. Today little remains of the sunken lanes used to smuggle goods from Langstone to Havant, but nevertheless these two pubs at Langstone are popular haunts with visitors and locals. Walk along the causeway to see Smugglers Mill, the Old Mill at Langstone, which was used by smugglers in the 18th century.
