Kelmscott Manor (3 Miles)* Kelmscott Manor, a grade 1 listed Tudor farmhouse adjacent to the River Thames, was the summer home of William Morris from 1871 until his death in 1896. Morris loved the house as a work of true craftsmanship, totally unspoilt and unaltered.

Buscot Park and the Faringdon Collection (5 Miles)* Buscot Park was built by Edward Loveden Townsend in the 1770's. The house is a dignified example of late 18th-century taste for Italianate country houses.
