Halesworth and District Museum (1 Mile)* The Museum was founded in 1984 and has always been in the care of volunteers. In 2000 it moved to the newly refurbished station building. Railway Heritage paid for the restoration of the station's unique movable platforms.

Dunwich Heath Coastal Centre and Beach (6 Miles)* Dunwich Heath is one of Suffolk's most important conservation areas. There are many good walks and wonderful views of the Suffolk coastline.
