Forest Hall Tourist Information |

Forest Hall Is situated approx 10-15 minutes drive from Newcastle city centre. It has a shopping centre, which is small but has supermarkets and everything you would need close by i.e. hairdressers, chemist, bakers etc. There is a park, nursery and primary schools close by. There are a few pubs. The Legion, The Coach Inn and the Flying Scotsman and a couple more around the area. Running behind Forest Hall Shopping centre is a railway, which even though it is prominent it is rarely noticed by locals. Food wise there is an Italian restaurant and good pub food. By car or foot you are close to main towns like Killingworth and Benton/ Longbenton with the bigger supermarkets there. Overall it is a nice peaceful place to live and close by to Metro's and buses to travel if need be. Description by Tracy Mulligan
