Farnham Tourist Information

Farnham stands on the River Wey, with unspoiled river meadows running through it, an architectural jewel with several outstanding art galleries. Follow the town trail and discover the fine Georgian buildings in Castle Street, the castle with its Norman Keep on top of Castle Hill and the historic Lion and Lamb Yard with its lively shopping facilities.

William Cobbett, author of 'Rural Rides', was born in Farnham.
