Otter Trust Earsham (3 Miles)* The Otter Trust is the largest and oldest otter conservation organisation in the world. Its headquarters is at Earsham in Suffolk a beautiful setting on the banks of the River Waveney.

Halesworth and District Museum (8 Miles)* The Museum was founded in 1984 and has always been in the care of volunteers. In 2000 it moved to the newly refurbished station building. Railway Heritage paid for the restoration of the station's unique movable platforms.
