Derrington, Stafford is a picturesque village west of the County Town of Stafford. It boasts a Millennium Green which has a wild meadow, fruit and nut trees, herb garden, willow maze and walkways. There is also the Duddas Wood, ideal for a quiet walk through maturing woodland. There is a picturesque church with regular Sunday services, a Village Post Office and Stores, a Pub/Restaurant and a garage with full facilities. There is also a Village Hall which was built by a group of villagers in 1931 on land given to the village by a local farmer. the Village Hall is a registered charity and has a management committee which oversees the daily running. The hall is 'disabled' friendly. Description by John Dunning
