Carnguwch is the name of a hill and a parish near the village of Llithfaen on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The hill has a cairn on the summit and the views from the top are breathtaking. The views overlook the Llyn Peninsula and Cardigan Bay. Description by William Iolo Owen

Criccieth Castle (8 Miles)* Criccieth Castle, standing on its headland between two beaches, is a prominent north Wales landmark.

Portmeirion Village (13 Miles)* This unique village is set on its own private peninsula on the southern shores of Snowdonia. It was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis (1883-1978) to demonstrate how a naturally beautiful place could be developed without spoiling it.
