The parish includes NerocheForest, formerly medieval woodland and now managed by the Forestry Commission with a footpath trail to the site of an ancient hillfort. Neighbouring villages worth exploring in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty include Wambrook, Whitestaunton and Combe St. Nicholas.
