Blisworth Tourist Information

Blisworth a beautiful village in South Northamptonshire. The village contains St John The Baptist C.O.E church dating back to the twelfth century. And the area is surrounded by deep, lush Northamptonshire countryside.

The Grand Union Canal runs through the village which contains many old beautifully kept thatched cottages which are lovingly cared for by their respective owners.

The village has two pubs, one of which is under refurbishment, and 2 shops including a post office, one school and a new Doctors surgery.

Blisworth by name and Blisworth by stature, this really is a blissful area. Ideally situated between the M1 Junction 15 and Towcester it makes a good starting point for touring beautiful interesting and ancient Northamptonshire.
