Uldale Tourist Information |
|
The peaceful traditional village of Uldale has links with Sir Hugh Walpole's highly acclaimed Herries chronicles. These are mainly associated with Keswick, Borrowdale and Watendlath, but Uldale and the surrounding areas are also featured as prominent locations in the works. The Northern Fells Gallery and Tea room is certainly worth a visit, here you can see exhibitions of quality work by Cumbrian artists, such as watercolours, jewellery, copperware, ceramics, and knitwear and woodcarvings are available for sale.
