Situated on the coast in the centre of beautiful Morecambe Bay, a new-look Morecambe is developing faster then any other resort in the country. The superb level promenade offers visitors unique and stunning views across Morecambe Bay to the Hills of the Lake District and the picturesque estuaries of the rivers Lune and Kent.

The area is renowned for its bird life and this has been cleverly captured in Morecambe's 'Tern Project' - a series of fascinating sculptures along the promenade, on the Stone jetty, and in the town centre. The statue of Eric Morecambe, who was a keen birdwatcher over the Bay, has pride of place.
