Aspley Guise Tourist Information

Aspley Guise is an attractive village situated amongst sandy hills on the edge of the pinewoods of Aspley Heath. The setting and natural environment of Aspley Guise gave it a reputation of being a health resort, and it became a destination for the wealthy who chose it for their country retreat.

Many fine buildings can still be seen, including Aspley House designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Guise House. St, Botolph's Church was largely rebuilt in early Victorian times, but retains a medieval screen and 15th century brasses.
