A Romantic Holiday Cottage for Couples in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

This delightfully secluded single-storey Hideaway Cottage for Two is situated just a 3 minute walk from the beach and the centre of the seaside town of Aldeburgh, on the Suffolk Coast.

It ,is ideal for couples looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, but located within easy walking distance of the High Street with its renowned shops, restaurants and seafront pubs, all just a short stroll from the garden gate.

The front door leads into a small Entrance Hall with space to hang your coats.

Open plan Living-Dining-Kitchen room:
With a two-seater sofa, armchair and coffee table. 26 inch flat screen HD TV with DVD player and FreeSat. DAB digital radio-iPod docking station. There is a small, round glass dining table with two chairs, and a large window overlooking the gardens.

Kitchen Area: This has granite worktops with an inset sink and waste disposal unit. Siemens appliances include an electric oven, gas hob and extractor; integrated dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. A microwave is available on request.

King Bedroom: This has a 5 ft king-size metal bedstead, 2 bedside tables, a double wardrobe with drawers, and a dressing table with a stool and mirror. Radiator, window overlooking gardens.

Shower Room: Porcelain tiled room with skylight. There's a luxury shower, hand basin and W.C. and a heated towel rail.

Outside: There is a private car park for residents, with 1 space for Garden Cottage. A 30m gravel path leads to the Cottage door.

At the front of the Cottage is a small area with table and chairs. A few steps through an archway lead into the mature, communal gardens.

These are laid out with lawns and flower borders and include a patio area with wrought iron table and chairs, providing the ideal setting for outside eating, or just relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening.

Another path leads through the communal gardens and out of a private gate onto Victoria Road, opposite the Parish Church and directly towards the beach within a 2 minutes stroll.

Unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to gravel path access.

Directions

By Car: From the A12 turn onto the A1094 signposted to Snape and Aldeburgh. Follow this road for about 7 miles to Aldeburgh and on entering the town cross over the mini-roundabout by the co-op supermarket into Victoria Road. After about 300m, immediately after Alde Lane, the entrance to Uplands is on the right hand side. Park in Bay 11 and follow the sign-posted gravel footpath to the cottage door.
