Two self catering cottages are located at Ffos Ddu farm a 28 acre smallholding of woodland ( with bluebells in the spring), meadows, lake and rivers for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
The two comfortable cottages available for weekly or short break rental.
Beudy Mawr is a very spacious one bedroom cottage sleeping two but with the option of sleeping up to four,with fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower and living room with a wood burner.
Beudy Bach is a spacious studio that sleeps two, but has room for a single bed or cot so can sleep three with a bathroom with shower and kitchen area and living area.
Both cottages have 4 star ratings from Visit Wales Tourist Board and have the recommendation for walkers and cyclists.
Each cottages has its own patio with tables and chairs enjoying extensive westerly views over the surrounding countryside, there is a Boule pitch for your enjoyment.

" A peace of heaven" The wildlife includes deer, otter, rabbits and a large number of different birds from swallows, swifts and house martins in the summer, Canada geese in the spring, the red kite can often be seen flying over head all year round.

Set in the heart of rural Carmarthenshire on the edge of the Brecon Beacons Nation Park yet conveniently located to the A40 and M4 motorway, only 4 miles from the market town of Llandeilo with all facilities (2 supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, post office, bakers, butchers and some lovely shops for treating yourself or just browsing)

The location of Ffos Ddu makes it an ideal base for walking, cycling (on and off road) at Brecfa and Crychan forests or there are some wonderful scenic drives.

Directions

To the end of the M4 take A48 to Crosshands:
Take the third exit A476 to Llandeilo through the town to the roundabout on the A40 take A40 towards Llandovery after 50yards turn left on to the B4302 towards Talley after about 1 mile turn left to Salem, through Salem passing the Angel Inn on your right, keeping going for another mile or so till you come to a T junction where you need to turn left or right Ffos Ddu is directly in front of you.
