The Artists Retreat is a studio-style holiday cottage based in Silverdale at the gateway to the Lake District.

Complete with its own unique style, its an ideal getaway for those seeking a tranquil setting in the heart of a rural area.

Silverdale is itself in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and that is nowhere more prominent than at The Artsists Retreat.

The Retreat is in an ideal location for exploring the Lake District and outlying areas such as Kendal (approx 13 miles), Grange-over-Sands (approx 16 miles) and stunning Lake Windermere (approx 18 miles), all within reach of a stay at the Retreat.

For the Artist in you, there is the use of a secluded garden away from the main house for hours of peaceful drawing or painting, whilst running water trickles through the nearby pond.
