Castleview West is a delightful holiday cottage with beautiful views over Loch Earn. Recently refurbished, Castleview West combines a traditional setting with modern facilities.

The comfortable self catering accommodation provides an excellent base for exploring, with plenty of opportunities for walking, fishing, golf and other outdoor activities.

2 double bedrooms, one on the ground floor, and one twin bedroom

Local Services: Castleview West is located in Lochearnhead. It is very central for touring, golfing and hill walking, with many famous tourist spots within an hour's drive. The village itself is a centre for water skiing, sailing, canoeing, hill walking, golfing, fishing and much more. The village shop supplies basic essentials and newspapers, and there is a Post Office at the junction of the A85 and A84. Petrol stations are available in Callander, Lix Toll and Comrie.

Castleview West – Terms and Conditions of Let
Castleview West is offered for holiday purposes on a self-catering holiday basis. Holiday lets are usually weekly from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed.
1. A deposit of 20% of the total cost of your stay is required within 7 days of booking to secure your reservation. Deposits can be paid by cheque or bank transfer. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full and in advance of occupation of the property
2. Once the balance payment has been made then refunds of that balance due to cancellation will only be given if the accommodation can be relet.
3. In the unlikely event that the accommodation is not available through events beyond the control of the owner, the booking may be cancelled by the owner. The hirer will be advised as soon as possible and all monies paid will be refunded in full, with the hirer having no further claim against the owner
4. A breakages deposit of £100 is required and must be paid in full with the balance of your holiday payment. This deposit will be returned in part or full following return of the property key to the owner. If the occupancy is not undertaken due to cancellation the breakage deposit will be returned in full
5. The accommodation and grounds must be left in the same state of repair, order and cleanliness as at the start of the holiday. The hirer is responsible for payment for breakages and/or damages and any extra cleaning required. Major breakages should be reported to the owner immediately and minor damages should be noted at the termination of the holiday
6. The accommodation will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure
7. No more than 6 people shall occupy the accommodation
8. Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation
9. The owner shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy
10. Bed linen, towels, heating and electricity are included in the rental charge. Beds will be made up for your arrival
11. The hirer is responsible for making the property secure when left unoccupied during the holiday.
12. Motor vehicles and personal belongings are at the hirer’s risk at all times. No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to any vehicle, its contents or other personal belongings.
13. Every reasonable effort has been made to mitigate possible safety hazards in the property. The accommodation and grounds, including the loch side area with fishing rights, will be used at the hirers own risk. It is the hirers responsibility to inspect the accommodation and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. Please remember that older properties were built before the days of minimum ceiling-door heights and easy stair gradients. The owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or

14. The owner reserves the right to refuse any booking.
15. Guests are asked to give consideration to neighbours.
16. If you have a cause for complaint during your holiday, please notify the owner who will make all reasonable efforts to assist and resolve the issue. Please do not leave it until after your holiday
17. All information provided on booking forms and other correspondence will remain confidential and will not be used for any other purpose.

Castleview West is in Lochearnhead, which lies at the junction of the A84, linking Stirling and Lochearnhead, and the A85 which runs from Oban to Perth.
