Our luxury bungalow is fully equipped with modern fixtures and fittings and is the ideal base from which to explore the unique landscape and to experience everything that these beautiful islands have to offer.
Scalpay is a thriving fishing community, accessed by bridge from Harris.
The island has a play park which is fully equipped and a favourite with the local children. There is a post office;newsagent and grocery store, which is a five minute walk from Highbury.
The accommodation comprises of four bedrooms, living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, utility room and bathroom.
There are fantastic views across the harbour and to Skye.
No smoking or pets allowed.

By Road:
Follow the A87 to Uig on the Isle of Skye where you can get the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Tarbert. The crossing takes approx. 90 minutes but you can pass the time taking in the views from the observation area. The timetable varies at different times of the year, so for information and to book, please call 08705 650000, or check the website. By Air: There are regular flights from Glasgow (50mins), Edinburgh (60mins), and Inverness (35mins) to Stornoway airport, which is an hours drive from Scalpay. Car Hire: Car hire is available from both Tarbert and Stornoway. |
