Springpark Road is a 3 bedroom semi-detached house centrally situated in Baltasound, Unst, Shetland.

Accommodation contains of 3 double beds,sleeping up to 6 guests.

Kitchen, contains all mod cons including cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, mircowave, fridge, etc.

Sitting room, contains television, DVD player and selection of DVDs, CD player and selection of CDs.

There is a solid fuel central heating system with a beautiful coal fire in the sitting room to keep you warm on them cosy nights in.

Bathroom, consists of bath, overbath electric shower,etc.

To the rear of the accommodation is a patio area with garden furniture, for enjoying the nice summer days and relaxing in the sunshine.

There is a large rear garden area and front garden.

Springpark Road overlooks the Voe(Bay) of Baltasound and is close to local amenities i.e Local shop, post office, leisure centre, local bar and restaurant

Preferably we would like our guests to stay Saturday to Saturday, but alternative arrangements could be considered with enough prior notice. Feel free to contact us with any queries or questions you have.
All bookings are per week (Saturday to Saturday, unless agreed in writing at time of booking), for Springpark Road as equipped and described, for a private holiday let.
Bookings are from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure (subject to unavoidable delays).

• A 25% non refundable deposit is required to guarantee your booking. The full payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival.


Getting to Shetland
By Air: Use the British Airways network, which connects to Shetland through the main Scottish airports of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness. There are regular flights most days.

By Sea: Northlink Ferries operates a comfortable overnight car ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick. There are sailings every day.

Getting to Unst & 18 Springpark Road
The inter island ferries are very busy in summer. If travelling by car it is advisable to book by phoning the Ferry Office Tel: 01957 722259.

From Sumburgh Airport

Take the A970 north to Lerwick, then follow signs for the North Isles. At Voe, turn right onto the A968 to Toft. This journey which takes approx. 2 hours (49 miles / 79 km).

The first ferry crossing is from Toft to Ulsta.
Take the ferry to Ulsta in Yell. The ferry crossing to Yell takes approx. 20 minutes.
Follow the main road from Ulsta to Gutcher ferry terminal which takes approx. 25/30 minutes (18 miles / 29 km).

The second ferry crossing is from Gutcher to Belmont . (If you have to wait at Gutcher, make sure you pop into the Wind Dog Café.

The ferry crossing to Belmont , Unst takes approximately 10minutes.

On leaving the ferry at Belmont , take the A968 to Baltasound. When you get to the crossroads at Baltasound (Nordalea Care Home is on the right and a wood clad house on the left)turn right follow road until you get to a corner turn right at that junction into Sprinpark Road, No 18 is the 2nd semi-detached house from the end on that row of houses. This journey takes approx. 20 minutes (7 miles/10.5 km).

From Lerwick, Holmsgarth Ferry Terminal

On leaving the ferry terminal, turn right onto the A968 north to Toft. Follow directions as above. This journey takes approx. 1 hour (28.1 miles/45.2km).
