The cottage which was built in 1877 is a 3 bedroomed property which sleeps 6. Downstairs there is a kitchen, and living room, Hall and walk in pantry.

There are 2 double rooms each with a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 bedside cabinets with a lamp. The third bedroom is a twin with 2 single beds, 2 wardrobes, 1 chest of drawers, 2 bedside cabinets with a lamp. All bedding is provided and is Egyptian
cotton.

It has 1 bathroom with a toilet, washbasin, bath and separate shower cubicle. A bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest.

There is parking for 2 cars.
A travel cot and highchair are provided on request.

Directions

The cottage is situated half way between Penrith and Kendal. By car leave the M6 at Junc 39 and at the A6 turn right towards the village of Shap. Travel through the village past the Greyhound Hotel on the right and take the next left turning, the cottage is on the right just after a small bridge.
