Once the home of the Duke of Atholl, our holiday apartment in a listed building in the centre of Perth, adjacent to the beautiful parkland of the North Inch, is the ideal place for a city break, or a base from which to explore Highland Perthshire.

Inch is a Scots word meaning island; very fitting for the feeling of relaxation that will sweep over you once you enter and close that huge old door behind you.

The apartment sleeps two/three with one double and one single bedroom.

The bathroom is newly fitted and has under floor heating and a large bath with shower. Towels are soft and fluffy and we provide luxury hand wash for your use.

Why not open the bottle of complimentary wine you will find on arrival and chill out....

But the really special thing about our holiday place, is the huge formal drawing room with its carefully restored Georgian features, like the wooden panelling, window shutters and ornate plaster cornicing.

We have provided all the usual modern comforts, however, like a TV and DVD player and a selection of DVDs and broadband. You might like to bring your own laptop though!

If you manage to tear yourselves away from your Perth retreat, there is plenty to see and do:

Right on the doorstep is the beautiful North Inch Parklands, with acres and acres of glorious open space; there is an 18 hole golf course, bowling greens, petanque pitch, childrenís playground, riverside walks and you can even watch a shinty match!

There is also a sports centre with an all weather sportís hall. We even have a castle for you to visit; Balhousie Castle is home to the Black Watch Regimental Museum.

The nearby Concert Hall is a fabulous venue and attracts world famous bands, classical musicians and comedians. You can eat here too, or just have coffee and cake.

The nearby refurbished Perth Theatre hosts various events and plays and has food available at its Red Rooms Restaurant.

Perth has a wealth of decent eating places to cater for all tastes as well as pubs and wine bars.

Further afield, you can get to Edinburgh and Glasgow within an hour and the world famous golf centres of Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St. Andrews are even closer.

The countryside of Highland Perthshire and the coastline of Angus and Fife are just a short hop away.
