We are in a quiet residential location near to countryside, parkland and historic sites, yet just a few minutes walk to Dunfermline town centre, with a wide selection of shops and dozens of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a corner shop for basic provisions just two minutes walk from the cottage.
The living room is provided with a TV, DVD player, CD player, radio, Wireless Broadband Internet Access. Bring your own laptop or we can supply a desktop PC for your use. Lots of books of local interest.
There is a spacious main bedroom. Want a lie in then close the internal wooden shutters as well as the curtains so you won't be disturbed by the early morning sunshine.
The Second Bedroom is supplied with adult size bunk beds, the window overlooking the garden.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, etc. There is a washing machine with integral dryer, iron and ironing board.
The Shower Room has an instant electric shower with the washbasin and WC conveniently located in the adjacent room thus avoiding those interminable waits for people to finish showering.
The Garden is south facing for catching the sun, with patio, lawn and a biodiverse area with mature trees for watching the bird life.
There is Free Parking on the quiet residential road outside the cottage.
Dunfermline as well as having lots of historic buildings of its own to visit, is very centrally located for visiting many of the other historic towns of Scotland, our coast and beautiful hilly countryside, whether travelling by car or using public transport.

We ask for a 30 per cent deposit on booking with the balance due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. |

The M90 between Edinburgh and Perth is 4 miles away. Leaving at Halbeath, Junction 3, follow the A907 into Dunfermline, and at the roundabout continue on the A907 past the new Debenhams store, and after the bridge, at the traffic lights turn right into Chalmers Street, then second left into Grieve Street. The Rosyth/Zeebrugge ferry is just five miles away. There are regular coach services from Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports with a single change at Edinburgh or Glasgow bus stations. Dunfermline bus station, where there is a taxi rank, is 10 minutes walk from the cottage. |
