Take a break away from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. The self-contained Wing of our country house, built in traditional style, is set in large gardens in the small village of Michaelchurch Escley.

It is the perfect place to relax. Situated close to the Black Mountains, it is a peaceful location in the rolling countryside of the Golden Valley, with the Escley Brook running past the end of the garden.

The accommodation consists of:
Downstairs: Bedroom with two single beds; Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, wash-basin & WC.

Upstairs: Spacious lounge/dining room with TV, mini hi-fi & video; Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave; Second bedroom with double bed; Separate WC and wash-basin.

Cot & high chair are available on request. We do not provide cot bedding for safety reasons.
(Visitors with children should be aware of the pond in the garden, and our close proximity to the Escley Brook.)

Many of our visitors use us as a base to explore the Herefordshire countryside, South Wales and the Borders. There are opportunities for walking, pony trekking on the Black Mountains, visiting ancient monuments, etc. Alternatively you can just sit in the garden with a book in perfect peace and tranquillity.

Our local pub, just 5 minute's walk away, offers good food in picturesque surroundings next to the Escley Brook and there are several other good eating places in the surrounding villages.

Take a look at our web site for many more suggestions of places to visit.
