The cottage sleeps 8/10 in 4 bedrooms (2 double & 2 twins) and there is also a mezzine floor above the living room with sofa bed.
The cottage has fantastic open beams under floor heating and a lovely large farmhouse kitchen complete with dishwasher & washing machine. There are two lovely modern bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath & shower. The spacious bedrooms are all on the ground floor and all have exposed beams and a modern decor.
The living room has a large downstairs and also a mezzine upstairs room, both of which look out on to the lovely open country side where the farms sheep & beef cattle graze. The cottage has its own private garden & patio area which is equipped with table, chairs, sun parasol & charcoal BBQ.
The garden overlooks the river & hills and is a great place to watch the wildlife in the evening sun.
Fresh flowers a bowl of seasonal fruit and some fresh free-range farm eggs are in the cottage to welcome you along with crisp white linen sheets, cosy duvets & fluffy towels. All linen, heat & electricity are included in the price.
Sambrook is a lovely little village in between Newport & Market Drayton on the Shropshire/Staffordshire boarder making it an ideal location to visit both counties and many famous tourist attractions such as Ironbridge, Shrewsbury, the Potteries & Alton Towers.
We also have many fishing lakes & golf courses close by and great county pubs one of which is in the village and serves excellent home cooked meals and real chips what's more it is within easy walking distance of the Old Shippen holiday cottage.
