Salcombe, with its sheltered estuary and its excellent sailing and water sports, is approx. 2 miles away. The historic market town of Kingsbridge is 4 miles. The towns of Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes and Dartmouth are all approx. 1 hour's drive, as is the beautiful landscape of Dartmoor.

Garden room newly converted from stone 'piggeries' with CD player and games. A peaceful place to sit, with direct access into walled garden.
This is a child-friendly cottage: the back garden is fully enclosed and overlooked by the kitchen and garden room. A travel cot suitable for up to 24 months is provided plus stairgate and high chair, as are children's toys, books and games.
Night storage heating is provided in April, May and October at a charge of £30 per week.

The cottage is best reached by car. Malborough is situated just off the A381, and a short distance from the A38 Plymouth to Exeter highway in South Devon. Exeter airport is about an hour's drive. Plymouth, for ferries from France and Spain, is 25 miles. The nearest train stations are at Plymouth and Totnes. |
