The cottage was tastefully restored in 2009 and now boasts comfortable accommodation for the holidaymaker, whilst still retaining many original features and authentic period details.
The comfortable lounge is spacious and relaxing, with a Hunter Multi-fuel Stove and comfy leather suite, flat Screen TV with Free View, iPod dock and a DVD Player.
From the lounge through an open doorway and a stone step down into the kitchen/dining area, which features a delightful dining area next to a feature brick faced wall; it's a great place to sit and chat, whilst preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
The main bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, tall-boy and co-ordinated linen and curtains.
The Bunk Bedroom is small with bunk beds, which will accommodate two children or small adults.
The bathroom features a modern free standing bath, designer glass pedestal basin and close coupled WC, mirror and shaver point; an electric towel warmer is situated in the corridor outside the bathroom.
At the rear of the cottage is a delightful Courtyard Garden with wooden decking area, patio set, b-b-q, herb garden - also at the rear is a private parking area.

From Mansfield / Mansfield Woodhouse: Take the A6075 into Edwinstowe Village. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Church Street, continue along Church Street past the shops and onto High Street ( which is the continuation of Church Street ). Go over the bridge and on the right you will see a junction with Mill Lane. Woodman's cottage is the 3rd terraced cottage on the right after this junction. From Ollerton and the North: Take the A6075 into Edwinstowe Village. At the traffic lights turn left into Church Street, continue along Church Street past the shops and onto High Street ( which is the continuation of Church Street ). Go over the bridge and on the right you will see a junction with Mill Lane. Woodman's cottage is the 3rd terraced cottage on the right after this junction. From Nottingham and the South: Take the A614 and when you see Rufford Abbey on your right take the B6034 which is the next left, continue along this road and go straight over the traffic lights at the Robin Hood Pub - continue into Edwinstowe, go under the railway bridge. On the left in 100 yards you will see a junction with Mill Lane. Woodman's cottage is the 3rd terraced cottage on the left prior to this junction. There is a parking area at the rear of the property, which is accessed from Mill Lane. |
