Meadowbrae is a comfortable, detached bungalow situated in the peaceful Berwickshire village of Reston. A 5-10 minute drive takes you to the pretty village of Coldingham, with its lovely crescent shaped sandy bay.

Also the picturesque fishing village of St. Abbs, with its nature reserve, renowned for the variety of birds and marine life, which attracts sub aqua divers from all over and where there are opportunities for a range of water sports which can be booked locally.

Close by there is also the fishing port of Eyemouth, with its harbour, beach, swimming pool, banks and a variety of amenities.

The historic walled town of Berwick upon Tweed is 15 minutes away, offering riverside walks and other places of interest and a further 10 minutes South from here is The Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the birthplace of Christianity.

To the North within the hour, you can be in the vibrant city of Edinburgh with all its attractions.

Berwickshire offers holidays with great variety, from the dramatic cliffs and picturesque harbours to the East to the undulating hills and imposing mansions and beautiful gardens in the West.

Berwickshire borders Northumberland, with mile upon mile of uncrowded golden sandy beaches and stunning countryside set within the Northumberland National Park, with castles abound including beautiful Bamburgh and "Harry Potter's" Alnwick. There is something for everyone in this area.

Directions

Just off the A1 trunk road 10 miles North of Berwick upon Tweed. Turn off A1 at the sign for Reston and Duns B6438, which takes you into Main Street.
Follow the road through village and you will see The Red Lion pub on the left, Meadowbrae is just 200 yards from here and is the last house also on the left before the bridge.
