Myrtle Cottage is centrally situated, 200yds from the largest thatched Manor House in England & within easy walking distance of Alford's working 5 sailed windmill.It is newly refurbished in a light, airy but comfortable style & open throughout the year.
The Cottage is ideally suited for 1-4 people.
One bedroom is a double,TV/DVD combi in the room.
The second has comfy twin beds.

Fully equipped fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, washing machine, ironing board and iron. All utensils and cooking pots provided.

The lounge comfortably seats up to 4 with Digital TV, incorporating a DVD/CD player, there is also a separate CD/radio. A variety of books/games/CD's & DVDs are provided and a folder of local information/activities/walks/cycle routes etc.
French doors from the lounge open up onto a private courtyard.The garage doors to the street can be closed & locked & pedestrian access can be through a side gate, which can also be bolted from inside.
Garden chairs & table are provided , the courtyard is a real sun trap in the summer

On arrival we provide a welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugar/bread/milk/ Lincolnshire plum bread and a sweet option.

If we can be of any assistance at all during your stay, we will be happy to, phone contact is available at all times.

It is ideally situated for the Tuesday and Friday markets also the many Inns and restaurants that Alford has to offer.

Alford is only 5 miles from the glorious East Coast with its golden sands and sand dunes full of wildlife. In October and November crowds flock to see the new born seal pups at Donna Nook which is only 10 miles up the coast.

In the other direction are the glorious Lincolnshire Wolds and all the treasures they offer.

Take the A1104 from Ulceby Cross roundabout,
Alford is nestled at the bottom of the hill.
Follow the main road until you come to the Manor House on your left hand side, take the third left & Myrtle Cottage is on your left.
