The water is heated by the propane gas "Aga" and/or by electric immersion heater. The central heating is oil fuelled and supplemented by the multi-fuel burner in the living room.
There is a telephone in this property, the use of which is free with the exception of calls to mobiles.

The kitchen is superbly equipped with a six seater table, American style fridge freezer complete with ice and water dispenser, electric cooking range with extra large oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oven, toaster, kettles, smaller fridge, halogen hob and two oven aga.
Also downstairs is an office with a large sofa bed, a conservatory and a dining room with a ten seater oak dining table. There is a travel cot, a fireguard and a high chair stored in the utility/drying room.
There are four bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms and a shower room. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bidet, free standing roll-top bath and separate electric power shower. The main bathroom has a roll top bath.
All the beds have new pocket sprung mattresses. The master bedroom bed is a super king brass style bed, with an "1100" pocket sprung mattress.
The "white" bedroom contains a double bed and the other two rooms, the "cherubs" bedroom and the "sloping roof" bedroom, each contain two single beds. The white room has an en-suite shower room with electric power shower. There is a wall mounted flat-screen TV/DVD in the master bedroom.
